I recently had the pleasure of producing a corporate film for HCL Technologies here in Stockholm — one of the world’s leading global IT companies, active in more than 60 countries. As a freelance videographer in Stockholm, being trusted to handle this kind of high-profile international production is exactly the work I love doing.
HCL needed a reliable local camera crew in Stockholm who could deliver broadcast-quality results on a tight schedule. No lengthy briefings, no logistical back-and-forth — just a clean, professional production from start to finish. That is what I set out to deliver.
How I approached the production
This was an interview-style corporate film, and I handled everything from pre-production planning through to on-set execution. Before the shoot day, I coordinated with HCL’s team remotely — covering location, lighting plan, shot list, and schedule — so that when we arrived on set, everything was already in place and we could move efficiently.
For the camera package, I chose a Sony FX9 as the primary camera paired with a Sony A7S3 as secondary. It is a combination I rely on for interview and corporate work: excellent skin tones, cinematic depth of field, and consistent performance across different lighting conditions. Both cameras are broadcast-ready and produce the kind of clean, authoritative image that enterprise clients expect.
My goal on every corporate shoot is to give the client something they can use immediately — footage that is well-exposed, properly graded, and edited cleanly without needing rounds of corrections. For HCL, the brief was to deliver visuals suited to both internal communications and external brand storytelling, and that is what we achieved.

Why international companies hire me as their local camera crew in Stockholm
Stockholm is a major hub for international business, and global companies like HCL regularly need a trusted local camera crew in Stockholm when shooting in Sweden. Flying in a crew from abroad is expensive and adds logistical risk — a local operator who already has the gear, the experience, and the network removes that complexity entirely.
With over 25 years of experience working as a corporate videographer in Stockholm, I have built my way of working specifically around international clients. One point of contact. I handle pre-production, crew coordination, the camera and lighting department on set, and file delivery. The client’s team can focus on content — I take care of everything else.
I work with both Swedish companies and international productions filming in Sweden, and I scale to fit the project: a single-camera setup for a fast-turnaround interview, or a full camera crew hire for a multi-day production across multiple locations.

What makes a corporate film work
Interview-based corporate films live or die on two things: the quality of the conversation on camera, and the quality of the image that surrounds it. Lighting, framing, and lens choice all need to support the subject without drawing attention to themselves. The technical side of the production should be invisible — what the viewer notices is the person speaking and the message they are delivering.
For a company of HCL’s scale, the film also needs to feel credible. It should match the level of professionalism that the organisation projects everywhere else. That means investing in the right equipment, the right preparation, and working with a videographer who understands both the technical requirements and the brand context.
You can see the kind of work I do across different clients and formats in my showreels — corporate, documentary, events, and broadcast.

FAQ
Q: What camera equipment did you use for the HCL Technologies production?
I shot the production on a Sony FX9 as the primary camera and a Sony A7S3 as secondary. Both are professional cinema cameras that deliver broadcast-standard image quality — excellent for interview and corporate work, with strong autofocus, great skin tones, and reliable performance in varied lighting conditions.
Q: Do you handle the full production, or just the camera work?
I handle the full production from pre-production through to delivery. For international clients in particular, I work as a single point of contact — covering planning, crew coordination, on-set camera and lighting, and post-production file delivery. You deal with one person, not multiple suppliers.
Q: Can you work with international companies filming in Stockholm on short notice?
Yes, often. For straightforward interview-based shoots, I can usually organise a production within one to two weeks. Larger or more complex productions benefit from two to four weeks of lead time. If your timeline is tight, it is always worth reaching out — I do my best to accommodate urgent requests when availability allows.
