Stockholm’s tech scene is growing fast, and Lovable is one of the most exciting companies to come out of it. I recently had the opportunity to work as Director of Photography on a corporate film for Lovable, shot here in Stockholm — and it was exactly the kind of project I enjoy most.
On this production, I came in specifically as DoP and videographer, focusing entirely on the visual side of things: camera, composition, and lighting. Another team handled the broader production setup, which meant my job was to work seamlessly within their workflow and elevate the look of every shot. That kind of focused collaboration is something I have a lot of experience with, and it is often where the most satisfying work happens.

What I do as Director of Photography on a corporate film
As a corporate videographer in Stockholm, I take on both full productions and DoP-only assignments. When a production company or director already has their team in place, bringing in an experienced local DoP can make a significant difference to the quality and look of the footage — without disrupting the workflow they have already established.
On the Lovable shoot, my responsibilities covered everything that ends up on screen: choosing the right lenses for each setup, designing the lighting to suit the location and the brand’s visual identity, and operating the camera with an eye for composition that feels intentional rather than functional. A corporate film for a company like Lovable — a brand built around a strong product and a clear aesthetic — needs imagery that matches that standard.
The result was a set of clean, cinematic visuals that work both as internal communications material and as outward-facing brand content.
Why DoP-only engagements work well
Not every production needs a videographer to take on the full producer role. Sometimes a director, agency, or production company has everything in place — script, schedule, talent, locations — and what they need is an experienced camera operator and lighting specialist who can step in and deliver without any hand-holding.
That is a role I am very comfortable in. With over 25 years of experience as a videographer and camera crew member in Stockholm, I am used to reading a room quickly, understanding what the director wants, and making it happen on camera. International production companies and directors regularly bring me in as their go-to local DoP in Stockholm precisely because I integrate into existing teams well and deliver consistent, broadcast-quality results.
It also makes practical sense. Hiring a trusted local DoP removes the cost and complexity of flying in camera crew from abroad — and you get someone who knows Stockholm’s locations, light conditions, and production culture inside out.

Lovable as a brand — and what that demands visually
Lovable is not just any tech company. They have built a product that people genuinely love using, and their brand reflects that care and intention. When you are producing a corporate film for a company with that kind of visual identity, you cannot show up with generic framing and flat lighting.
For this shoot, the visual approach was built around warmth, clarity, and a sense of forward momentum — qualities that reflect what Lovable represents. Every lighting decision, every lens choice, every camera movement was in service of that. That is what a DoP brings to a project: not just technical execution, but a considered visual point of view.

FAQ
Q: What is the difference between hiring a full-service videographer and a DoP only?
When you hire me as a full-service videographer, I handle everything from pre-production planning and crew coordination through to on-set execution and file delivery. A DoP-only engagement means I come in as the camera and lighting specialist within a team that already has its director and producer in place. Both are services I offer depending on what the project needs.
Q: Do you work with production companies and agencies as a local DoP in Stockholm?
Yes, regularly. Many production companies — including international ones filming in Sweden — bring me in as their local DoP or camera operator. I am used to integrating into existing teams quickly and delivering without adding complexity to an already-running production.
Q: What kind of corporate films do you typically shoot in Stockholm?
I work across a wide range of corporate formats: brand films, interview-based content, product launches, internal communications, event coverage, and documentary-style productions. If you are unsure what format fits your brief, that is something we can work out together in the planning phase.
